Our Team

James is the Founder/Owner and a Certified Financial Planner, responsible for coordinating all existing programs and planning for future needs. With over 40 years of service to the community, James has built a reputation for his commitment to helping clients achieve their financial goals.

A 1972 graduate of Penn State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Health and Physical Education, James earned the Certified Financial Planner designation in 1990. His extensive experience and dedication have made him a trusted leader in the financial planning industry.

In his free time, James enjoys watching his five grandchildren participate in various sports and activities, as well as spending time on the golf course.

Laurie joined the family business in 2005, bringing with her a passion for helping clients achieve financial success. Based in the Palmyra area, Laurie lives with her husband Ed and their three children, Sean, Charles, and Mila, along with their Boxer, Chief.

Together with her dedicated team, Laurie offers a personalized approach to financial planning—focused on helping clients plan, protect, and grow their wealth. By staying ahead of an ever-changing environment, their mission is to deliver clarity, confidence, and the ultimate goal of financial freedom.

A graduate of Bloomsburg University and Hershey High School.   She enjoys lifting weights, running, and playing basketball in her free time. Recently, she was inducted into the Hershey High School Hall of Fame, an honor reflecting her dedication and achievements. Laurie loves to spend quality time with her family and enjoys relaxing at the beach whenever possible.

Sara is a registered representative with 2 years of experience working in the financial services industry. She graduated from Penn State University in 2023 with a BS in Finance. As the granddaughter of Jim and niece of Laurie, Sara has had lifelong involvement with Your Financial Community and is excited to formally join the firm.

In her free time, Sara enjoys spending time with friends and family, watching sports, reading, exercising, and cheering on the Philadelphia Phillies and Penn State Football!
